Current Vacancies
Board Positions (only open to members in good standing)
Dear Members,
I am writing to inform you of this year's Annual Congregational Meeting. This will take place on Sunday 24th April at 4:30pm in the Main Church. We will also be offering a Zoom option for those that wish to attend remotely. Please let us know any access requirements you may have, and we will do our best to ensure accessibility. We will be providing food and refreshments afterwards.
We will also be holding an election for spaces on the Board during the ACM. There will be five (5) position up for election for the Board this year. This is due to 2 people coming to end of term, one co-opted member needing to be elected and one member (currently on year 2 of term) stepping down. There was also one vacant position. To keep it in line with the rotational nature of the board, the 5 positions are composed of 1 x 1yr term, 2 x 2 year term and 2 x 3 year term. As the current board, we have decided to leave it as a mutual discussion amongst those elected who fills which term.
ARTICLE 6 – Local Church Administrative Body
D. Composition
Please find attached nomination forms for this election. We ask that you consider prayerfully if you are called to stand or if you feel another member may be appropriate (Nominations must be discussed with the member before you nominate them, to gain their consent. Members may decline to nominate someone if they believe that the person’s talents are better matched to another role in the Church). Forms can be typed or handwritten and should be sent to Lily by email ( email address below) or in person by 10pm on Sunday 17th April. If submitting electronically, please copy whomever you are nominating into the email for their information.
Alongside the elections, we will be hearing reports from the Board and Ministry Team Leaders which cover the last year.
The Board hope that as many members as possible can attend. If you need to Zoom in then please let one of the Board know at least 7 days before, by Sunday 17th April, so we can sort out the logistics.
It will be good to see as many of you at the meeting as possible. If you are unable to attend can you give your apologies either in person to a board member or email them to [email protected] and I will collect them together.
We hope to see you at the ACM, if not before at our Sunday services.
